If you\u2019ve bought a Microsoft 365 license, you have access to Sharepoint. You can use it to create sites, and if you use Microsoft Teams, files shared to Teams are saved to a Microsoft Teams site created in it. Microsoft Teams\u2019 features rely quite a bit on Sharepoint but you won\u2019t see a direct link to your Sharepoint website.<\/p>\n

Access Microsoft 365 Sharepoint<\/h2>\n

In order to access your Sharepoint website, you must have access to the admin account, or your own account must have admin-level clearance. The Sharepoint website can be accessed easily from the Microsoft 365 admin center.<\/p>\n

Note: If you\u2019re not sure which account has admin level access, try using the one used to purchase the Microsoft 365 license.<\/p>\n

  1. Visit the Microsoft 365 admin center.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Sign in with the admin account.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. In the column on the left, click \u2018Show all\u2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. You will see \u2018Sharepoint\u2019. Click it.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. A new tab<\/strong> will open and direct you to your Sharepoint admin.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. In the column on the left, expand Sites.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Select Active Sites.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. In the pane on the right, you will see all the sites configured under Sharepoint. Select a site and a panel will open on the right.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Scroll down to the \u2018Domain\u2019 field to get the URL of the site.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. On the main Active Site page, you can click the value in the \u2018URL\u2019 column to go to the Sharepoint site.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Access Sharepoint files<\/h3>\n

    To access Sharepoint files, you must be on the Sharepoint admin center (in your browser), as described in the previous section.<\/p>\n

    1. In the column on the left, go to Sites>Active Sites.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Select the Sharepoint site<\/strong> you want to access files for.<\/li>\n
    3. Click the value in the \u2018URL\u2019 column.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. In the new tab that opens, click Documents in the column on the left.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Select a folder to view files uploaded to it.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. Select a file, and click Download to save it to your desktop,<\/strong> or click a file to open it.<\/li>\n
    7. Select \u2018Site Content\u2019s from the column on the left to access other site assets<\/strong> and files that normally aren\u2019t stored in the Documents tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Sharepoint doesn\u2019t need to be accessed directly by most end users. If, as an end-user, you\u2019ve set up Microsoft Teams (created a team), and invited other users to it, you may find yourself needing to access it.
