To fix the problems, use the apt-get install -f command to install it.

sudo apt-get install -f

Arch Linux

Steam is available for installation on Arch Linux through the “multilib” software repository. This repository must be enabled before installing Steam. To enable it, open up the
/etc/pacman.conf
file in your favorite text editor.

Once the file is open, find the “multilib” section, and remove the # symbol from in front of it, along with the lines directly below it. Then, save the edits and close the editor. Re-sync pacman using the command below.

sudo pacman -Syy

Using the command below, get the latest release of Steam up and running on your Arch Linux system.

sudo pacman -S steam

Fedora/OpenSUSE

Those using both Fedora and OpenSUSE Linux can install Steam through software repositories included in the operating system.
