Therefore, the only way to use the service is to use a supported web browser. Currently, the best web browser to use GeForce Now on Linux is Google Chrome.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to install Google Chrome on your Linux PC. Google Chrome is officially supported on Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora Linux, and OpenSUSE Linux. It can also be installed on Arch Linux through the AUR.<\/p>\n<h3>Install Google Chrome<\/h3>\n<p>To install Google Chrome on Linux, open up a terminal window on the Linux desktop. To do that, use <strong>Ctrl + Alt + T<\/strong> on the keyboard. Or, search for \u201cTerminal\u201d in the app menu and launch it that way.<\/p>\n<p>Once the terminal window is open, the installation can begin. Follow the installation instructions down below that corresponds to the Linux operating system you currently use.<\/p>\n<h4>Ubuntu<\/h4>\n<p>To install Chrome on Ubuntu, start by heading over to Google\u2019s Chrome website. Once there, find the download button, and select the option to download a \u201cDEB\u201d package.<\/p>\n<p>After downloading the DEB package, use the <strong>CD<\/strong> command to move into the \u201cDownloads\u201d folder. From there, use the <strong>apt install<\/strong> command below to set up Google Chrome on Ubuntu.<\/p>\n<pre>\nsudo apt install .\/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb\n<\/pre>\n<h4>Debian<\/h4>\n<p>Chrome works on Debian, but you\u2019ll need to download the DEB package. To do that, head over to the Google Chrome download page. Then, select the \u201cDEB\u201d option to download.<\/p>\n<p>When the downloading process is complete, use the <strong>CD<\/strong> command to move into the \u201cDownloads\u201d directory. Then, install Google Chrome on Debian using the <strong>dpkg<\/strong> command below.<\/p>\n<pre>\ncd ~\/Downloads\n<\/pre>\n<pre>\nsudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb\n<\/pre>\n<p>Finally, correct any dependency issues that may have occurred during the installation process.<\/p>\n<pre>\nsudo apt-get install -f\n<\/pre>\n<h4>Arch Linux<\/h4>\n<p>Chrome is available on Arch Linux, albeit unofficially. To get it working, you\u2019ll have to install it through the Arch Linux User Repository. Use the commands below to install Chrome.<\/p>\n<pre>\nsudo pacman -S git base-devel\ngit clone https:\/\/aur.archlinux.org\/trizen.git\ncd trizen\/\nmakepkg -sri\ntrizen -S google-chrome\n<\/pre>\n<h4>Fedora<\/h4>\n<p>Google officially supports Fedora. To get the browser working on your system, start by heading to the official Chrome download page. Once there, click \u201cDownload\u201d and select the \u201cRPM\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p>Using the <strong>CD<\/strong> command, move into the \u201cDownloads\u201d directory. Then, use the <strong>dnf install<\/strong> command to get the Chrome RPM package installed on your computer.<\/p>\n<pre>\ncd ~\/Downloads\/\nsudo dnf install google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm\n<\/pre>\n<h4>OpenSUSE<\/h4>\n<p>Google supports OpenSUSE via a downloadable RPM package. To install it on your system, start by heading over to the official Chrome download page. Then, click on the \u201cDownload\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p>After selecting the \u201cDownload\u201d button, choose the \u201cRPM\u201d option. When the download is complete, use the <strong>CD<\/strong> command to move into your computer\u2019s \u201cDownloads\u201d folder.<\/p>\n<pre>\ncd ~\/Downloads\n<\/pre>\n<p>Once inside the \u201cDownloads\u201d folder, use the <strong>zipper install<\/strong> command to set up Google Chrome on OpenSUSE.<\/p>\n<pre>\nsudo zypper install google-chrome-stable_current_x86_64.rpm\n<\/pre>\n<h3>Installing a user-agent spoofer<\/h3>\n<p>Nvidia, for some reason, will not let Linux users use GeForce Now in any browser. However, there doesn\u2019t seem to be a legitimate reason because Chrome can fully render gameplay.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll have to install a Chrome extension to get around this block that Nvidia puts in place. This extension will allow you to trick Nvidia into thinking you\u2019re using Windows.<\/p>\n<p>To install this extension, head over to the Google Chrome extension page. Then, select the \u201cAdd to Chrome\u201d button to install the spoofer. From here on, Nvidia will believe you are on Windows.<\/p>\n<h2>Playing GeForce Now games on Linux<\/h2>\n<p>With the browser installed and the user-agent in Chrome spoofed, you\u2019ll be able to play GeForce Now on Linux. To do it, follow the step-by-step instructions below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Head over to the GeForce Now games page. Once there, create an account.
