To enable this software repository, open up the <code>\/etc\/pacman.conf<\/code> file in a text editor (as root).<\/p>\n<p>With the text file open in a text editor, search for the \u201cmultilib\u201d software repo line and remove the # symbol. Then, remove the # symbol from the lines directly below. Then, re-sync Arch with the official software repositories.<\/p>\n<pre>\nsudo pacman -Syy\n<\/pre>\n<p>Finally, after enabling the \u201cmultilib\u201d repo, install the Steam app using the <strong>pacman<\/strong> command below.<\/p>\n<pre>\nsudo pacman -S steam\n<\/pre>\n<h4>Fedora\/OpenSUSE<\/h4>\n<p>Fedora and OpenSUSE include software repositories that can help you get Steam working out of the box. That being said, the Flatpak release of Steam is a lot better on these operating systems, and we suggest following those instructions instead.<\/p>\n<h4>Flatpak<\/h4>\n<p>To get the Flatpak release of Steam working on your computer, you\u2019ll first need to set up the Flatpak runtime. You can set up the Flatpak runtime by following our setup tutorial.<\/p>\n<p>After setting up the Flatpak runtime on your Linux computer, Steam can be installed. Using the two commands down below, set up the latest release of Steam.<\/p>\n<pre>\nflatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https:\/\/flathub.org\/repo\/flathub.flatpakrepo\n<\/pre>\n<pre>\nflatpak install flathub com.valvesoftware.Steam\n<\/pre>\n<h3>Install Total War: WARHAMMER II on Linux<\/h3>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve set up the Steam app, launch it on your computer. Then, follow along with the step-by-step instructions below to get Total War: WARHAMMER II working on Linux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Find the \u201cStore\u201d button inside the Steam app and click on it with the mouse to access the Steam store.
